How to get a payment gateway and POS terminals

Payment gateway

1. Registration

Use the "Create an account" button to get to registration. By registering, you will create an account which you will later use to receive payments. After sending the data, we will approve your registration and you will receive an activation link to your e-mail address, which must be confirmed.

Registering in our system does not mean that you can already accept payments, but it is possible to test the so-called virtual payments (see implementation manual - after clicking please choose English language in the upper right corner). Based on the registration you created, we will contact you regarding a price offer and other information. After agreeing on the terms, we will send you the documents that we will need you to sign and complete in order to activate the payment gateway.

 

2. Sign the forms and attach the documents

Below on this page, you can see the individual requests for services as well as the documents that will need to be attached to the requests. In order to assess the application, in addition to the documents mentioned below, we will also need a link to the website/eshop where you want to use the payment gateway.

If you don't have a finished website, at least send us a test version with login details. Documents (applications) will need to be signed with verification (officially at a notary, at the registry or at our company headquarters). Send the originals of the signed documents together to our address Besteron a.s., Teslova 20A, 821 02 Bratislava, Slovakia.

 

 

Documents required for approval

 

Payment by Bank Buttons / Transfer

Application - client form. We will send you the application by e-mail along with instructions on how to fill it out. The application serves as a contract, the signature must be verified by a notary or a competent person from Besteron. Send the document by post to the address Besteron a.s., Teslava 20A, 821 02 Bratislava, Slovakia.

 

Card Payment

Application for the provision of e-commerce payment services. We will send you the application by e-mail along with instructions on how to fill it out. The application serves as a contract, the signature must be verified by a notary or a competent person from the besteron company. This application can also be signed electronically if you have a ZEP (Guaranteed Electronic Signature). Send the document by post to the address Besteron a.s., Teslava 20A, 821 02 Bratislava, Slovakia.

 

POS terminals

Application for the provision of payment services through a payment terminal. We will send you the application by e-mail along with instructions on how to fill it out. The application serves as a contract, the signature must be verified by a notary or a competent person from Besteron. This application can also be signed electronically if you have a ZEP (Guaranteed Electronic Signature). Send the document by post to the address Besteron a.s., Teslava 20A, 821 02 Bratislava, Slovakia.

 

  

Additional documents required for the application

 

ID or passport: Photocopy of identity card of both sides or passport of the person/s signing

Account statement: Scan of the current bank statement - headers where the date, IBAN and account owner are indicated.

GTC: should be freely available on the website. If you haven't published them yet, you need to send them to us. The business conditions must include:

- clear identification of the entity that operates the e-shop

- the condition that, in the case of a justified complaint, the return of funds is possible in the same way as the payment was made (i.e. also to the card)

- "payment via payment gateway" must also be mentioned in the payment methods

 

3. Approval process

As soon as we receive the completed documents, we will start the approval process. The online bank buttons service is approved by Besteron, a.s., where the approval process can take 2 or more working days.

When paying by card and payment terminals, we forward the documents to our partner Sia Slovakia, where the approval process can take 2 to 3 weeks. The approval time depends on the demands of the client, the project, the number of websites, as well as the correct filling of documents.

 

4. Start

After the successful approval of the client, the payment gateway services are activated. In the administration of your user account you will find the implementation keys, which your developer will enter in the Besteron implementation and you can start the payment gateway Usually, the payment buttons of banks are started earlier, so keep the card payment service disabled in the implementation. When activating this service, you simply turn it on additionally. You can then receive payments from your clients.
